In this league any player who isn't on a 2 way contract
Once a player is claimed he may be placed in the minors, but if you want to recall him later, he must go through re-entry waivers, and the team waiving must pay half his salary for the remainder of the season if claimed.
If a player who has been waived and cleared once already and is in the minors during a trade, the new team may put him in their line up without placing him on waivers first.
Waivers exist in the off season, but re-entry waivers do not. What this does is gives teams a chance to relieve cap space, but re-enter the player into their lineup later in the summer without the risk of losing him, if he wasn't originally claimed.
Waiver process will take 24 HOURS MAX!!!
So better stay active to see who's on the waiver wire!
The team who gets the player is the team lowest in the standings who claims the player. You cannot claim more than 1 player a day (24 hours)!
In the offseason it will go by the previous year standings.
